There’s no known mechanism for radioactive decay to become unstable- further, you’re ignoring the fact that if radioactive decay had sped up uniformly so as to make a young earth look old, then the resultant heat would have melted the planet.

1949, willard libby - won a nobel prize in chemistry in 1960. carbon dating is not the only way to date stuff - and still, you assume that the data would be different - that is not the case.
carbon dating, and radiometric dating in general, is not based on assumption, but on principles of chemistry and physics.
that’s why it’s up to chemists and physicists to assess whether it works or not.
