    I will suggest one site that is not uk specific but you will find people who are in the uk in it. The site is mingles and you can read all about it here

    It used to be a site where they had free membership and then asked you to upgrade but the site has changed recently and they are offering all the services for free. It’s a good time to give it a try. You can browse people by location so you can see how many people they have in the uk.
